The process engineer Anke Jung has been working for IREMA-Filter since
April 2009. The family business was fully assigned to her as the daughter
of the founders in August 2013, when she became the CEO of the company.
From 2000 to 2005 Anke Jung studied at the university of the city of Bayreuth
environmental sciences and bioengineering. During that time she passed
several internships, domestically and abroad, like in Chile, Australia and USA.
This way she was able to gather first know-how in production technologies
for filter media and finished filters. Furthermore the former student was also
committed at the Chair for environmentally appropriate technologies as an
assistant scientist.
After having finished her studies with a diploma in process engineering Anke
Jung decided in 2005 to stay loyal to sciences at first and do her doctorate at
the Chair of chemical process technology at the university of Bayreuth. The
topic of the doctorate was "Carbon nano fibers in the catalysis". In 2009 Anke
Jung graduated with "summa cum laude"/"with honors" before starting at
IREMA-Filter and facing the daily challenges of a family business.
Since January 2009 Andreas Seeberger has been working for IREMA-Filter.
Beside other tasks within the family business he is specialized in the
development of filter media. The process engineer was appointed President
of the company in August 2013.
From 2000 to 2005 Andreas Seeberger studied environmental sciences and
bioengineering at the university of the city of Bayreuth. Several internships
domestically and abroad, like in Chile, Australia and USA, completed his
studies. The former student was able to gain first experiences regarding
production technologies for filter media and finished filters.
Andreas Seeberger finished his studies with "magna cum laude" in process
engineering. Afterwards he graduated on the topic "Ionic liquids used for
fluid purification" at the Chair of chemical process technology at the
university of Bayreuth. During that time the young scientist founded the
company SepaPro GmbH together with his doctorate supervisor. With this
he could take first steps as a junior entrepreneur and managing director.
